Dancer, translator, the project’s coordinator.
Anna is a graduate of the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Warsaw and currently a PhD candidate there. She is fascinated by the connections between traditional music and contemporary popular culture. Her MA thesis explored the genesis of “disco polo”. She translates from several European languages (English, Croatian, French, Spanish, and Serbian). She currently works at the Institute of Music and Dance, as a project specialist in the dance department.
For many years, Anna has coordinated various cultural, social and educational projects with both a domestic and international reach. She prepares and runs high-budget projects funded by social, national and EU bodies. She has a wealth of experience in coordinating partnership projects that involve whole groups of performers.
She enjoys dancing Polish, French and Swedish traditional dances in Poland and at international festivals.
